Construction/Feature Queries are pre-packaged queries. They look for linguistically relevant structures in the English glosses and translation for clues as to what might exist in the source language data. For instance, if the English translation contains a passive structure, it's likely that the source language data does too, and if not, something passive-like. Likewise, if the English translation is glossed as a question, it's nearly certain that the source language data is a question as well. All the English translations are tagged using Penn Tree Bank tags, and these tags help look for additional structures and constitutent types.

The following lists each of the Construction/Feature Queries currently available through ODIN, giving some background and information on each:
